Farewell Blog Hop

Well, here we go for our very last Blog Hop with the SGD Girls. I’m excited to share one last time with you, what made this time so special for me.

The SGD Girls and I have all picked out our favorites from the past. Check out each blog to learn and get inspired.

And now I’d like to say one last thing, before we go to my faves. Nina, Janna and Lilith: thank you for being such great DT’mers!! You three have truly made this blog beautiful during the last few months! Thank you for sticking with me and my stamps :D It’s been an honor to have you all and I’m excited to see what you will do in the future!! Love you ladies :)

I love this one, well, because of the color combo and the bird that is stamped on transparency. It makes the cover of this mini quiet unique and gives it lots of texture.

These mini album pages were made for a recipe exchange. I used the Cookbook set and a typewriter font for the description. The little peeks of colors and the whimsical sewing makes this little project special to me.

This last page was one of my favorites. Again, the texture and overall feel, all the little snippets of paper scraps.. Love it! The banner was very simple to make. Just cut a bunch of triangles of similar colored paper and hot glue them right onto the page. No sewing necessary!

Now that you’ve checked out my faves, go ahead and visit Nina on her blog to see, what she’s sharing with us today :D

CP Page

Say hello to Jynxy. And his addiction to carrots.

I wanted to make this a playful page, so I punched a whole into the paper, added pale colored threads through and around the page and secured them with tape on the back. It’s really simple, but I love the effect!

BlueMoon Card & Layout

Hey lovelies :) Today I’m catching up on sharing BlueMoon projects. First off, a card.

I think, this card is one of my favorites up to date. It’s simple, but still, there’s a lot of texture in the design, which of course, I’m probably known for. I’m using the twine in the back as a part of my photography packaging and I love how much rustic flair it brings to the game!

The second project is a travel page. The image is from our road trip to the Death Valley, a few months ago. I wanted to document our passion for our future kids – and no, I’m not pregnant.

I really love pale colors, combined with white (what a surprise!!) and gold. Black and white images help to achieve a subtle and calm look, so turn them into b/w’s if you feel like challenging yourself :D

Fall Page & Card

Hello there! I’m back since Thursday night, from a wonderful trip to Switzerland. It’s really been an amazing time and I’ve so enjoyed to spend time with my family.

Some of the Higlights:

  • Crafting Cards with my mom (she was crafting with paper while I was painting watercolor images…)
  • Going to Europa Park with my best friend Andrea (I’ve only once been on a real roller coaster and I have to say, I’m excited to scream out my soul the next time…. ;) )
  • Snow. Yes, I totally brought winter to my home land! If you’ve been following me on FB or Instagram, you’ve already seen the white, fluffy wonder…

Anyways. I’ve got some BlueMoonScrapbooking projects to share with you :)

First this Layout. I have to say, it’s one of my favorites ever. Don’t know why. Just the way it is. The image is from our latest road trip to the Eastern Sierras, where we went ‘color spotting’ (totally insider lango, meaning, looking for fall foliage..)

And next a little Birthday Card. Since I was too lazy to turn on my Silhouette, I simply drew a speech bubble form directly onto the card and cut it out with my detail scissors. Totally back to the roots, huh ;)

see, super easy! And here’s the result…

Happy Monday :D
